I needed my Hyundai serviced. When my car was ready, I found that Chris had my car washed and vacuumed. So not only was it operating a peak efficiency, Scooter (yes I named by car) was all bright and shiny like a California morning after a cleansing rain.

The AC in my car stopped blowing during the heat wave last week, so I immediately started researching what happened. Turns out it might be the blower resistor, but I wanted to make sure. I searched online and came across HB Auto and AC on Yelp. I read some of the reviews and I liked how Chris, the owner, was pretty attentive, responding to the reviews. So I came in and talked to Patrick on a Thursday after work and he told me to bring my car back in the morning. I told them I had to be at work at 7:30 am and Patrick assured me I would get there on time. I came by at 7 am and sure enough, Patrick was waiting for me. Chris was there too and he was going to drive me to work in my car as my shuttle. Normally, I would be hesitant on letting someone else drive my car like that, but Chris said he wanted to "get a feel on the car" and since I only worked in Fountain Valley, I was fine with it. We got to chat in the car about his business and about my car, and by the time he dropped me off at work, I felt pretty safe leaving my car in their hands. And that's how my whole experience with HB Auto and AC felt--safe. Patrick kept in touch with me during the day to keep me updated about the progress. Turns out it was the blower resistor as I thought and I also asked them to check my battery, which they also replaced. They also suggested some other repairs, but there was absolutely no pressure to do everything that day. When I came by to pick up my car after work, it was ready for me to go! Friendly and fast service, and I'm happy my AC is working again! Thanks Patrick and Chris!

The service at HB Auto & AC was excellent. They replaced the air conditioning compressor on my 1972 Bronco. My vehicle was done when they said it would be and for the price they quoted. The entire staff was friendly and professional.

Absolutely the best! HB Auto & AC fixed an air conditioner leak that was not found by other shop we'd gone to for many years. We're taking our cars to HB Auto & A/C from now on. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Customer service is top notch here. Couldn't be happier to have found this place.

Chris and Patrick are some mighty fine mechanics. They'll tell you everything you need to know and won't pressure you for any additional service unless it is absolutely necessary. I called to have my AC checked after it stopped working. The AC compressor was previously worked on by another shop and crapped out on my just a little over a year later. I called in on a Friday afternoon hoping to schedule an appointment, and Chris offered to take a look at it if I could bring my car in in 30 minutes. Luckily I was only 15 minutes away and was able to bring the car in. Chris and Patrick were very helpful and professional and made me feel very welcomed. They recharged my AC and said to come back in 2 weeks to check for leaks since they weren't able to find it the first time. Chris said that if it worked well, then drive it for a year and if it leaks again, he would check it out for free. Well a week later the AC stopped again and I brought it back in and found that the compressor was leaking. The fix would take a day and they hooked me up with a rental. They got me up with a new compressor, installed it and even fixed a wobbling rear wheel hours before their estimated completion time.

Awesome service!! Chris and Frank was so helpful . Price was better than where I got my last a/c fix. Took less than 48 hours to get everything done. Very thorough. True to their yelp reviews!!!

As promised Sir, here is your review. ;) I had a problem with the basket on my bike and needed to find someone with a welding torch. One of the shops in this "plaza" recommended HB and I went over to them. Customer service was quite fine. Genuine interest in trying to help me tho there was some b.s. to go around. The owner (I think he was the owner) was helpful and honest. I have no idea how their actual car work ends up, but the first impression was positive.

Best auto repair shop ever. On 1/10/15 I noticed a VERY loud screeching coming from the front end of my 2014 Honda Accord, so I called up Steve and he came by later that day, to my house, to check it out for me! Well we couldn't find out what it was, so the next day I had it towed to the shop, we arrived around 1130 am, Steve and me went to lunch and by the time we came back, the car was fixed! Now THAT is friendly customer service!

Had an issue with my car and needed oil. So I Googled this place and went because of all the great reviews and it was even better! They were super nice and honest! I definitely recommend them to everyone!
